Small note about the above diagram.... Looking closely (sorry about the quality) it states that dark colored cars (B7, F8, T7 & X9) omitted the tail panel black out......I have personally never witnessed this. There is an original unrestored 69 F8 green Hemi Charger on THIS page that indeed has the tailpanel black out....very strange. This bulletin was dated 5/28/68....well before the 7/68 first run of the 1969 model......it is obvious that the plans were changed.

Below is the factory paint diagram for the measurements needed to apply the V21 Hood Performance Treatment option. Organasol black paint was used for the color. This was a rare option which could be gotten on all Charger models from a base 318 XP car to a Hemi.
